Look at all the beautiful shades of grey, Interior Designer, Marshall Watson, used in this gorgeous Florida home, featured recently in House Beautiful.
Mr Watson explains that ‘grey brings a sense of shadow that softens the environment’ … varying shades of grey providing cool tones that balance out the intense Florida sun streaming through the big windows in the house.
He further states that ‘the spectrum of related grey tones creates a flow between the rooms’, making them feel more cohesive. Look at that fabulous lucite table!
‘Silvery reflections thrown off the water’, sparkles from all the crystal, Murano glass lights and Venetian mirrors, and the sheen of the wood floors, all give this home a ‘restful peaceful glow’.
Even poolside has shades of grey.
