My heart literally stops at the beauty of the Christmas Advent Windows in Switzerland.
Advent (the 4th Sunday before Christmas Eve) marks the start of the Christmas celebrations, here in Switzerland.
I have been told that in the more traditional villages, they celebrate ‘real advent calendars’, when each night leading up to Christmas, the village celebrates a different house’s ‘Advent Window’. Food, wine and music!
How wonderful!
