So through the beautiful Great Room windows, featured yesterday, was this magnificent deck.

A unifying blue and white coastal theme, and outdoor rattan furniture, tied three outdoor living/dining areas together.

Don’t rugs make all the difference in delineating each living zone?

And using the same rug ties it all together too.
Look at those eaves. Deep sigh.

Don’t think those shingles and the joinery went un-noticed! I practically hugged them I got up so close. The joinery was wooden on the interior and powder coated aluminium on the exterior.

Hugging/stroking distance.
I had an in depth chat with one of the lovely hostesses about the shingles.
They get better with age and last for ages.

Severely weather proof and not timber … so no built in senescence.

Love low decks. “The front porch on my next house is going to be exactly this high”, she decided, standing right there.

And this was the back elevation!
I know!
